Mark Cross was Fan-Freaking-Tastic! I came in meager hopes of being able to purchase a used car, and ended up in my very first brand new car! It was nothing short of a miracle for me. Mark was always upbeat with a great sense of humor. He was in contact with me as much as I needed, and never left me waiting for information.He showed me all of the features of the car I would be leasing before it even arrived. He was even able to get my car in the color I really wanted, Orange Burst! I absolutely LOVE IT!

Within minutes, Justin had two vehicles pulled up, running, heated seats already on (one of my criteria) and ready for us to test drive. He even made tests drives fun, as well as a car learning experience! When we weren’t quite ready to make a decision on either of those vehicles, Justin, listened to what our thoughts were and arranged for another, more different showing later in the week.

After a warm greeting, we sat down with Justin, who posed the perfect inquisitively helpful questions and then truly listened to our responses. It was very obvious from the get go that Justin was concerned with learning OUR NEEDS and striving to fulfill them.

As we continued our car shopping and comparisons, we were shocked to find out that this, apparently, is NOT a standard within the industry.

My lease vehicle was to be delivered on a Thursday. I was called shortly after 11am and told my vehicle was on its way. I left work early to meet the delivery driver. After 4 hours of waiting I called the dealer at 3 pm to find out the status of my vehicle. I was transferred and put on hold multiple times before I was told someone would call me back. When I was called back I was advised that the vehicles check engine light had come on they told the driver to bring it back to the dealership to be fixed. No one called to tell me this!!!! I lost money leaving work early and waiting around! I was then told my car would be delivered the next day. Again I had to call the dealership to find out details. We agreed on a 2:30pm delivery. My vehicle arrived shortly before 3pm. There were multiple deep scratches on the driver side panel by the seat. The fuel was under 3/4 tank when I was promised a full tank. Once again I missed out on work for the new delivery date. I called the salesperson about the scratches and was advised to text pictures which I did immediately and heard nothing in response. Very disappointed with how everything was handled after I “signed the papers” and was a sure deal. Lastly the lease was signed with 84 miles on the odometer. At delivery the odometer was 222 miles. Quite a difference and inconvenience at 25 cents a mile over when I was not responsible for the check engine light coming on.

My experience at Carter Chevrolet was very pleasing, the new location is beautiful! Thank you to Allan for keeping me updated with Chevy offers and Miguel and Paul for blowing me away with an exceptional lease payment for a new 2017 Volt. Very happy. Thank you!
